Nadex binary option trading strategy

nadex binary option trading strategy What are Binary Options? A binary option asks a simple yesno question If you think yes, you buy the binary option. If you think no, you sell. Either way, your price to buy or sell is between $0 and $100. Whatever you pay is your maximum risk.

You can't lose any more. Hold the option to expiration and if you're right, you get the full $100 and your profit is $100 minus your purchase price. And with Nadex, you can exit before expiration to cut your losses or lock in the profits you already have. That's pretty much how binary options work. Some are suitable for the US style of binary options found on NADEX or Cantor Exchange, while others are better suited to the online trading platforms which are regulated. When it comes to US exchange traded options, there are basically five major binary option trading strategies available It is an uncontestable fact that any trader who trades on the NADEX or Cantor Exchange platform must understand these strategies, and exactly what situations would warrant playing one strategy over another. The goal of this article is to demystify these strategies and enable traders understand exactly when to use these strategies.

We now take our time to explore these strategies one after the other. The strategies to be covered here are the core strategies. Other more exotic strategies will be covered in a subsequent article. In-the-Money. vs. Deep-in-the-Money.

The definition for an in-the-money option on NADEX is a bit different from what traders who trade European style binary options have been used to. For a Call option, an in-the-money option strategy works when binary option’s current market value is above the entry price (strike price) of the underlying asset. For a Put option, an in-the-money option strategy works when binary option’s current market value is below the entry price (strike price) of the underlying asset. An in-the-money option is not necessarily used to define an option that is profitable. It only refers to a binary option that is worthy of being exercised. The in-the-money binary options strategy is a trend-following approach.

This strategy is used when the trader expects the asset to maintain a strong trend for some time to come. Such a trend is obviously as a result of market fundamentals, pushing an asset in a particular direction. Take for instance the occasion of the South African miners’ strike of 20122013 which caused prices of platinum to skyrocket due to diminished supplies. This was a fundamental factor that pushed prices towards a particular direction, resulting in a very strong trend which lasted for some time. The first step towards deciding if the in-the-money strategy is the right one to use is to check the news headlines and then scan the graphs of the asset to see if the trend in the asset is strong and in the direction that the news headlines are pointing to. A good way to gauge this is to see if the trend makes a 37- to 45-degree angle to the horizontal, or whether the price action has broken through its 50-day moving average.

Usually the trend is confirmed by the price action making a sequence of new daily highs and new daily lows. If a determination has been made that the asset is trending and this is backed up by strong fundamentals, then it would make sense to do an in-the-money or deep-in-the-money strategy. Another point that must be noted is that the trend direction must remain strong for a reasonable amount of time.

Usually, deep-in-the-money trades attract higher commissions because the expected outcome of the trade is that it will be settled in profit territory. The deep-in-the-money trader is essentially a trend trader and is joining the herd. At-the-Money. vs. Near-the-Money.

By the very definition of a binary option being “at-the-money”, the asset price on expiry is going to be at the market price when the trade was opened, or very near to it (near-the-money). When the trader examines the charts and the trend of the asset is starting to table out in a plateau, then it may be a safer play to go for an at-the-money (ATM) strategy. At - or near-the-money options contracts usually attract a higher premium than out-of-the-money binary options, but they are usually cheaper than in-the-money binary options. A binary option with an entry price of $29.80 and a current market price of $30 is said to be near-the-money, since the difference between the strike price and the market price is just 20 cents. Generally speaking, options in which the difference between the strike price and market value is less than 50 cents are considered to be near the money.

There are a number of reasons why it may be better to play an at-the-money strategy. When the market is in a sideways pattern such as in a sideways channel. An at - or near-the-money binary option trade can also be used if the price of the asset is hovering near its support or resistance point, in which case the price is prone to testing the resistance or support level several times before it either breaks the key level, or retreats from it totally. In this chart above, we see the price action testing the support line many times. When the price action is doing this, then a range will tend to form because price action will not be swinging too wildly from one end to the other.

In this situation, you can use an at-the-money strategy to trade the binary option on this asset. Out-of-the-Money. vs. Deep-Out-of-the Money. The out-of-the-money (OTM) binary option trade is mostly used to take advantage of very high trade volatility. Out of the money binary options trade usually attract very low premiums.

Trades taken with deep-out-of-the-money (DOOM) binary trades are usually considered trades with improbable outcomes, but if the outcome works out as the trader predicted, the payout can be quite huge. For example, let us consider a stock with a market price of $30. The binary options contracts with strike prices above $20 would be out of the money calls, while the binary options with strike prices below $20 would be out of the money puts. In the case of a stock that is trading at $30, a call trade with a $29 strike price may cost $2.50, while a contract with a $31 strike may be priced at $1.00. If the stock appreciates to $32 by the time the trade contract expires, the $29 call would be trading at around $5.00, while the $32 call would be trading around $2.00. In this case, the gross return for the $31 call would be higher than the return for the $29 call. Most times, it is not always recommended to use one strategy exclusively, and the reason is not far-fetched. Markets and price action can be unpredictable, and it is good to use a strategy which can put this unpredictability in your favour.

This is where combination strategies come in. Combination strategies typically make use of two or three different strategies to as to enable the trader to benefit from a variety of market conditions within a typical trading week. Regardless of the combination, option strategies should match market conditions. The following combinations can be used Three deep-in-the-money trades with one deep-out-of-the-money trade. Three deep-out-of-the-money, three deep-in-the-money, and four at-the-money trades.

Three deep-in-the-money contracts with one deep-out-of-the-money contract. One-third deep-out-of-the-money, one-third deep-in-the-money, one-third at-the-money. The snapshot above is a summary of the trade strategies that we have discussed. Strongly Trending Markets Apply an in-the-money or deep-in-the-money strategy. Weakly trending market Buy or sell an at-the-money strategy.

Aging Trend Sell an out-of-the-money strategy to take advantage of the expected market reversal. Strongly trending parabolic buy an at-the-money strategy Aging parabolic Either sell an out-of-the-money strategy or sell an at-the-money strategy. Sideways market Sell a strangle strategy or buysell an at-the-money strategy.

In a subsequent article, we will show you what days of the week these strategies will come in handy. Meantime, you can study these setups to know exactly when to use them in the binary options market. Binary Options Strategies - Sponsored by Nadex. Because of their all-or-nothing character, binary options offer traders a great way to trade on the direction of an asset or the overall market. And what makes binary options intriguing, besides their straight-forward riskreward profiles and defined risk, is that they can be used for shorter strategies due to the hourly, daily or weekly expirations of the contracts.

For a purely directional trade, let’s use the US 500 Binary as an example. This is a contract Nadex offers which is a derivative of the E-Mini S&P 500 future and expires to a Nadex calculation of the last 25 futures trades just prior to the contract expiration. If you believed the E-Mini S&P 500 future was headed for new highs after trading through a resistance level, you could buy the US 500 Binary to capitalize on your market opinion. On the other hand, if you believed the E-mini S&P 500 future wouldn’t reach a certain price level target you could sell the binary strikes above your price target in the exact same binary option. For this directional trade example, let’s assume the following Underlying E-Mini S&P 500 future currently trading at 1873.75 Assume bullish view on the E-Mini S&P 500 futures with 1877.75 price target by end of the trading day Current time is 120pm EST Daily contract expires 415pm EST ( 2hr 55 minutes remaining ) Looking at a screenshot from the Nadex platform, there are four different strike prices that have active markets that are below your target price of 1877.75 expiring at the end of the trading day today.

Each strike will have its own unique riskreward profile relative to the underlying market price and binary strike price. Buying the Binary Option at the Offer Price US 500 (Mar)> 1866 - Cost $97 Potential profit $3 Return 3.1% At Expiration. US 500 (Mar)> 1869 - Cost $87 Potential profit $13 Return 14.9% At Expiration.

US 500 (Mar)> 1872 - Cost $68.50 Potential profit $31.50 Return 46.0% At Expiration. US 500 (Mar)> 1875 - Cost $43 Potential profit $57 Return 132.6% At Expiration. Assume you decide to buy the US 500 (Mar) > 1872 for $68.50. All binary option contracts settle at 0 or 100 at expiration and it is important to remember that a binary option needs to be only .01% in the money for it to expire at 100.

So essentially, your US 500 (Mar) > 1872 contract needs to expire above 1872 in order for you to receive the maximum payout of 100contract. If the binary expired at the strike of 1872 or below, your maximum loss would be your initial $68.50 costcontract. In this example, even if the bullish move was not as strong as expected, provided the underlying market remains above 1872 at expiration the contract will settle at 100. Remember that all examples above are not inclusive of exchange fees. Another important point to remember is that you are in no way committed to hold your position until expiration when trading binary options.

You can take your profit or cut losses early at any time before expiration if you would like to exit your trade. Binary options may also be used as a vehicle to trade the volatility of the underlying market with limited exposure whereas trading the outright market in volatile conditions can be quite risky. With binary options, you can buy or sell market direction using strikes which are out of the money, i. e. cheaper initial cost. If the underlying market goes higher like you had anticipated and finishes above the strike if you were a BUYER or at or below the strike if you were the SELLER, then the contract is valued at $100 per contract.

(Note when trading the outright market there is no cap to your profit potential but the binary choice offers a comfortable way to participate in the market with limited risk and potential positive return if finishing in the money.) Low VolatilityFlat Market. If you believe the market will remain flat and trade sideways, you could trade binaries that are in the money.

These binaries will have a higher initial cost which is proportionally more expensive and a lower return due to the capped payout structure at expiration. As long as the market remains flat, the binary is already in the money, so you want time to fly as the contract will be worth $100contract at expiration. For example, if you paid $80 for the binary position (higher proportional cost out of 100), then your net profit, not inclusive of exchange fees, would be $20 at expiration. Traders can take advantage of binary options through numerous strategies on the Nadex exchange. Nadex is a fully regulated US exchange offering contracts on currency pairs (such as EURUSD and USDJPY), equity indices (such as US 500, Wall Street 30 and FTSE 100), energy (such as crude oil and natural gas), metals (such as gold and silver), agricultural (such as corn and soybeans) and events (such as jobless claims and Federal Reserve decisions).

Futures, options and swaps involve risk and may not be suitable for all investors. NADEX Binary Options Strategies. NADEX is the only binary options firm that can legally accept US customers and allow them to trade across a range of contracts including commodities, Forex and futures. That’s why we’ve created a number of strategies for NADEX which are based on the popular 1-2 hour expiration options.

All of these strategies are suitable for NADEX and have a very high success rate. 1-2 Hour Binary Options Strategies for NADEX Examples of 1-2 Hour Trades on NADEX The following chart shows 2 successful trades for NADEX (1-2hr expiry) using the 15m chart on the MT4 platform. Both of these trades use our PSAR breakout strategy and indicators that you can receive once you upgrade membership to Pro. Before a discussion can be effectively done on the Nadex binary options strategies, it is important for traders to get familiar with how binary options on Nadex works.

An effective strategy cannot be developed in a condition of ignorance of the workings of an exchange. So what makes NADEX stand out from other binary options platforms? 1) The Structure of the Exchange NADEX stands for the North American Derivatives Exchange. This is a wholly American binary options exchange which offers binary options under American option rules. This is different from the other binary options platforms you are probably used to, which operate under European options rules.

NADEX currently offers its services to traders with a social security number (i. e. US resident traders) or traders who are US citizens. With a seemingly narrow market, why are we interested in NADEX? This is because other exchanges such as Cantor Exchange have come on stream, and these exchanges have opened their doors to international clients. Thus an understanding of how NADEX works will provide such traders with information on how to use the NADEX binary options strategies on their own platforms. 2) Asset Types NADEX offers binary options trading only on certain assets. These are as follows Commodities Silver, gold, copper, soybean, corn, natural gas, and crude oil. There are contracts with daily and weekly expiry times. The only exception is corn which only has a weekly contract. Stock Indices CBOT E-mini Dow Futures (US), ICE Mini Russell Futures, EUREX DAX Index Futures, Kospi 200 Futures (South Korea), LIFFE FTSE100 Index Futures (London), NGX NIFTY Index Futures, SGX Nikkei 225 Index Futures (Tokyo) and CME E-mini S&P500 Index Futures (US). Currencies EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, EURJPY, USDCAD, USDCHF and AUDUSD. These have intraday, daily and weekly expiries. Exotics EURsystem Main Refinance Rate, FOMC Targeted Fed Funds Rate, Jobless Claims and Non-farm Payroll reports. 3) Contract Types NADEX offers several types of binary options contracts, which are a bit different from the regular contracts traders on European-style binary options platforms are used to. These are In-the-money (ITM)Deep-in-the-money (DITM) At-the-money (ATM) Out-of-the-money (OTM)Deep-out-of-the-money (DOOM) You can see that the NADEX binary options are a bit unique, and to trade the contract types, you need a strategy for each one, giving us 5 NADEX binary options strategies. On NADEX a Call option is in-the-money when the asset’s current price is above the entry price. An in-the-money Put option is seen when the asset price is below the entry price. To trade this, you need a strategy which follows a trend that the trader feels will last for some time. For instance, if you hear of a civil war breaking out of an oil rich country (such as Libya in February 2011 which caused crude oil prices to trend upwards for close to 9 months), this is a play which will benefit from using an in-the-money strategy. With this strategy, the news is the trader’s best friend. This strategy is best deployed on Wednesdays and Thursdays when the market bias (and by extension, the trend) has taken shape. Unlike the at-the-money trades in European-style options where this outcome yields neither a profit nor a loss, this NADEX binary options strategy actually pays out profit if the trend is flat or in a sideways channel, or if the price is in the process of testing a key area of resistancesupport severally prior to a break or a rejection at that level. The strategy therefore is to look for areas where there is expected to be consolidation before a breakout. Trading the NFP with this strategy setup a few days to the news release and trade expiry just before news release is one way this strategy can be deployed. This is the contrarian NADEX binary options strategy, where the trader bets against the market expectation, pays low premiums as a result and earns a huge payout if the bet is correct. This will require a lot of tact to deploy. Usually, the trader will have to study the behavior of assets on the trading days of the week. This strategy is best set on Mondays when the market bias for the week is yet to take shape. To trade using NADEX binary options strategies, you have to know what to trade and when to trade so that the deployment of these strategies works exactly as the trader would want them. A firm understanding of American-style binary options trading is necessary and the use of a demo account on NADEX or Cantor Exchange would surely facilitate this. All About The Binaries. Futures, options and swaps trading involves risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Short attention span trading 20-minute option use surges. In just one week, options contracts with an expiration of 20 minutes have become the second most popular offering on trading platform Nadex, as investors seek faster and faster gratification. The contracts were launched last week with little fanfare by Nadex, the leading provider of binary options in North America. The company offers options with many durations and did not expect the tremendous level of early interest it's seen. Hourly contracts remain the most popular kinds of options on the company's platform. Twenty-minute options account for 15 percent of total volume on Nadex today. These extremely short-term options are available for trading on the S&P 500, Russell 2000 and Nasdaq 100 Index futures, as well as Dow Jones Industrial Average futures. "This is trading," said Nadex CEO Tim McDermott. "The 20-minute contracts offer great opportunities. " Binary options differ from vanilla options because they have only two outcomes a fixed amount or nothing. Such yesno bets aren't prevalent on the major U. S. options exchanges because of their risk profile and lack of popularity to date. Critics argue these kinds of options, especially ones with such short time horizons, amount to little more than buying a lottery ticket and have no basis in the fundamentals. "I can't think of a single reason why I would trade this product," said Dan Nathan, an options trader and creator of RiskReversal. com. McDermott's response "You can't trade your lotto ticket." The overall binary options market is growing at a faster pace than the rest of the options market. Nadex traded 3 million contracts so far in 2014, already more than the 2.3 million done in all of 2013 by the site. Overall, options trading is up 5 percent in 2014 over last year, according to Options Clearing Corp. "We really saw the levels of trading in our two-hour binaries increase in the last two minutes of their life, so that's why we created the 20-minute contract," said McDermott. He said he sees continued growth for his company, especially as such options become better known in the U. S. Binary options are more commonplace in the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. In the United States, many binary options are offered on the Internet without regulatory oversight. The Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission have warned investors about fraud by some of those sites. Chicago-based Nadex is regulated by the CFTC. Binary Market Analysis. NADEX binary options are a poweful tool in the right hands. These options, unlike most other types of binary options on the market today, offer some of the most versatile trading there is. I have been asked many times what types of strategies work best with NADEX so I am taking the time now to provide an overview of what kinds of trades you can make with these highly adaptable trading vehicles. Because NADEX options are binary trend following strategies work extremely well. Trend following strategies utilize the power of the markets own movement to help ensure trades. Technical indicators like trend lines, moving averages and oscillators like stochastic, MACD and RSI are great ways to pin point entries in this manner. The theory is simple and works well to weed out false signals. Every indicator gives off multiple kinds of signals for buying and selling that have no regard for market conditions or trend. If the trend is up it makes sense that a trade to the upside has a better chance than a trade to the downside. Using this as a basis then you will only take signals that are in line with the underlying trend and no signals that go against it. In my experience there are weak and strong trend following signals. In time recognizing the difference becomes easy. Weak signals usually precede a stronger signal but a stronger signal does not always come after a weak one. Sometimes a strong signal will be followed by numerous weak signals. Each weak signal that comes after a strong signal can be considered to be an entry in a trend following strategy. Look at the chart above. At point one there is a weak stochastic signal followed by a stronger signal at point 2. Then later on another weak signal at point 3 results in a profitable entry as well. Trend following signals can come in every time frame. The best time frame for each trade will depend on the asset and the underlying trend. I like to use charts of daily prices for trend and entry for most assets and the charts of weekly prices for longer term analysis. Currency pairs trade in a tighter range than stocks or indices so shorter charts are good for them. I usually use 1 hour or 30 minute. When choosing expiry I look to the signal strength and the chart duration. If the signal is weak I choose a strike price that is at-the-money. If the signal is strong I choose one that is farther out-of-the-money in order to capture larger gains. As for expiry, that depends on the chart. Most of my signals take 3-8 candles to move into the money. On a chart of daily prices that means an expiry of 3 days to a week usually. On a chart of hourly prices it could mean an end of day expiry or end of tomorrow. NADEX Credit Strategies. NADEX binary options are unique in that they can be bought and sold. I don’t mean that NADEX has early out options, I mean that NADEX binary options can be sold to open giving you a credit. This means you get paid up front for the option instead of having to wait for it to expire. This feature can be applied to nearly every type of NADEX strategy including trend following strategies. The NADEX trend following credit strategy works great in a down trend. Instead of buying positions on the entry signal you sell them. The great thing about bearish strategies like this is that usually move into the money much faster than bullish ones. This binary options on the USDJPY is out of the money and can be sold for a credit of $33. Credit strategy can also be utilized in an uptrend. Once a bullish movement has occurred a pullback or consolidation usually follows. At this time you can sell positions that are out of the money with a reasonable expectation that they will close out of the money. On an average consolidation I would stick to options that are out of the money but contrarians or those trading on divergences or other reversal techniques can reap huge profits selling in the money options. NADEX Hedging Strategies. Hedging strategies seek to profit from short term movements in underlying asset prices, trading ranges and what I call knee-jerk reactions but are also known as pops-and-drops. Because it is possible to both buy and sell NADEX options you can enter into two positions that off-set each other and more than that, you can do it in a way that both profit. Basically the idea is to enter into a long position, allow it to move up and gain some value and then sell and offsetting one. This works well with a trending asset and even better with range bound assets. In an uptrend buy on the entry signal and then use a shorter time frame to pinpoint pullbacks in the trend. Do the same thing with a range bound asset. Buy on the entry signal, or sell on the sell signal, and then enter the reverse position as the asset reaches the opposite range limit. NADEX 30 Minute Binary Options Strategy. I also call this the ITM strategy because you are looking for ITM options. This strategy is a combination of the three techniques described above and utilizes expiration time to help ensure profitability. This strategy will work for stocks, indices, commodities and forex pairs. I suggest using the daily charts for trend, then move down to the hourly charts for choosing your positions. You want to start off with a look at trend to see what the underlying condition is. A market trending strongly in one direction may be better suited to a trend following strategy. Use the daily chart to draw trend lines and any support or resistance that looks important. Once that is done move down to the hourly charts and get a look at how day to day price action is behaving around your lines and if any shorter term support, resistance or trend lines look important. Draw them if they do. These lines tell you what strike prices to look for. So, about 30 minutes before your chosen expiration, or 30 minutes before every expiration, look at your charts and then look at the available strikes. The idea is to buy strikes at or below lower support and to sell those above upper resistance. By doing this you can buy options that are already in the money and sell those that are already out of the money for instant, or near instant, profit. All you have to do is hold them until expiration. The returns on this type of position isn’t great, on average about 10-15%, but it is quick and easy 15% that you can make every time an option approaches expiration. What are Binary Options? Binary options are limited-risk contracts based on a simple yesno question about the market’s price action, like this “Will this market be above this price at 3pm today?” If you say yes, you buy the binary. If you think no, you sell. If at 3pm, you’re right, you get the full 0. If not, you get zero. Binary trading is a simple, but powerful way to trade the most active stock indexes, forex, commodities & other markets, with limited risk, guaranteed. North American Derivatives Exchange™ (Nadex) is the first and largest US-based exchange that offers a limited risk, low cost, and legal way to trade binary options and spreads. Your funds are secure in top US banks, not offshore. Nadex is regulated and transparent and gives individual traders like you a level playing field. Nadex Binary Options lets you trade binary options on a wide range of the world’s markets from a single account on your desktop, tablet, or phone. You can open an account online for free. With a low minimum opening balance, you can fund using a debit card and start trading within minutes. Your market data and trading software are free, with robust charting and analysis tools. You pay a low fee per contract side, with a cap on entry fees. Limited Risk, Better Protection Than a Stop-Loss, and Virtually Limitless Trading Opportunities. Binary options offer individual traders a new, innovative way to participate in the markets with limited risk, protection against volatility, and the ability to profit from short-term market moves-up, down, or sideways. With Nadex binary options, you know your maximum potential profit and loss before you enter the trade. This allows you to calculate riskreward with precision. Since the trade is fully paid for up front, you never get a margin call. And if the market suddenly makes a huge move against you, you know that your losses are limited and, even better, your option is still active, meaning you are still in the trade if the market turns back in your direction. You get better protection than a stop-loss order, without getting stopped out. Nadex Binary Options vs Offshore Binary Option Brokers Legal & Better. The most obvious reason to trade binary options on the Nadex exchange is because it is legal. Most offshore binary “providers” and “brokers” are not legally authorized to accept US clients. In 2013, the CFTC issued a fraud advisory stating that only certain “designated contract markets” could legally solicit US customers to trade binary options. Nadex offers the widest range of binaries. Even if you aren’t a US citizen, you should trade on a trusted, regulated exchange. Nadex Binary Options offers more strike prices and more contracts on more markets than most offshore binary providers. And we combine the all-or-nothing power of binary options with the ability to get out before expiration. You choose how and when you want to exit your trade. Nadex binary option and spread contracts span a range of underlying markets, from commodity futures and spot forex rates to economic indicators and equity index futures. Contracts are available for a wide range of strike prices with intraday, daily and weekly expirations. Nadex is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Unlike many binary options providers, Nadex does not take the other side of member trades or engage in trading of any kind. Member funds are held in segregated accounts in US banks. Individuals can become members to trade directly on the exchange with access to a trading platform including order entry, market depth, historical data services, cash accounting and position reporting. S. based clearing house and exchange for derivatives (options), including binary options. It is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission which gives it a distinct advantage over many other binary options brokers it is one of the few brokers with a government organization overseeing it. Nadex was originally called HedgeStreet, and was founded in 2004. Since then, it has been giving traders a safe venue with which they can try to predict assets’ price movement. There is no guarantee that their trades will be profitable, but it is a highly regarded and trusted options broker, and this is a big advantage. This broker offers many of the same assets that the other major binary options brokers possess, including stocks and indices, currency pairs, and commodities. Nadex is based out of the United States, but they do have European and Asian indices available for trade upon their platform. This allows for a broader range of traders to make profits upon their site. It also helps traders to diversify their trading, and this is a good way to help protect yourself from a major hit to your trading capital. Nadex also lets traders make yes or no predictions upon economic events such as jobless rates, the Fed funds rate, and the nonfarm payrolls numbers. This is a feature that is not offered by the majority of other brokers. The difficult thing about trading through Nadex is that buying options is not quite as user friendly . Still, trading here is quite simple once you get the hang of it. For example, if you want to trade the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a price will be given to you and you will need to predict whether the actual price will be above or below that price when the expiration time is hit. Say you think the Dow will be above 15,000 a 330 PM. You will be given a cost per contract. For the sake of simplicity, we’ll say that it costs $60 per contract and you buy ten of them. If you are right in your prediction, you will get $600—the cost of each contract times how many you bought. If you are wrong, you will lose $400 since the original cost is based on a scale of 1 to 100. If you buy at 60, 100-60= 40, so $40 times 10 equals $400. This might sound complicated, but their site explains this in great detail, so make sure you look through everything before you execute your first trade. Their brokerage is meant to make option trading more understandable and more accessible to the average trader. One other way that they do this is by lowering the cost of speculation. With traditional options, buying a full sized lot could cost you tens of thousands of dollars. With Nadex’s site, however, the cost of doing business is much lower and the profit rate is better. One of the negative features of Nadex is that they do charge fees for each transaction. Still, this site has a stellar reputation and is a great resource for the trader looking to branch out and expand upon their daily trading routine. Binary options are a great way to diversify and increase your profit rate with minimal effort. Nadex is a trusted place to trade and has grown quite a bit in popularity over the last several years. As this type of trading becomes more established, it is very likely that Nadex and other binary options brokers will continue to see an increase in the volume of trades conducted.
